Crafting 'Hermy'
Hermy is a plushie that I created from scratch. My sister and I are both gamers (I a little less since kids), but saw the need to create a custom plush as there isn't one currently available on the market.
He is based off an Elder Scrolls online character, and I am really happy with how he turned out.
Made from a lot of little sections and over 10,000 individual stitches, I can't wait to have him officially on the market.

Celestial Ball Outfit
As most of you know, I am a bit of a book girlie and have recently found an amazing bookish community to join.
So this year I decided to join in on the Celestial Ball in Brisbane and made my own outfit. The plan changed a couple of times, due to not liking the original idea, then a pregnancy; but I got there in the end (I even suprised myself and did a catwalk!).
There were a few events and I made a bolero for one event, and my entire outfit for the ball. I thought some of you mught enjoy part of my journey.
Prepping & Planning
Planning at it's finest

The OG Plan...
...but changed my mind.
Hmmmm.... what to do....???
This???
No, that's not it....
Might need to do some dye work
At least the jumpsuit turned out ok.
This.... I think (gosh I hope it fits - I was still pregnant at this stage)
hmmmm.....
..... well I'm running out of time and the baby is here now, so better finish so I can try it on
You do not know the relief I felt once I finished this, knowing it fit. It wasn't my best work, some of the seams popped in ther skirt during the ball, but at least I could wear it.
Next Ball, it's levelling up....
I also decided last minute to make an elven cape/bolero... because you know, I didn't already have my hands full with a new baby, making my ball costume, packing etc.
